ALYNGARN BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOGS

Our 2nd Home bred Champion came with JETT. She was out of Amie out of a litter of five. She won 9 C.Cs and ended up being the top Bernese Mountain Dog in the U.K. in 1995.Amie had Page in her second litter (Alyngarn Amitie) she won 4 RES C.Cs. Page has produced some quality offspring some are shown on the Graburlynn homepage (Links). There are others that are doing well in the show ring especially one, Texan (Alyngarn Amarillo at Alphanova) he had one C.C .He was producing some top quality pups, sadly he died last year 2000. We have three pups all by him which are showing promise and have excellent temperaments. Others that have used him came back saying they were thrilled with what he had produced for them. Jett has produced only small litters but what she has produced have been excellent. One bitch over in Northern Ireland (Alyngarn Amonterosa) is doing especially well in the show ring. She has won numerous B.O.B.s including Best In Show at the All Ireland B.M.D.Club Show in Navan, Dublin the judge being breed specialist Brenda Griffiths (Forgeman). Over here on mainland Britain she is also doing very well with I C.C at Driffield Champ show the judge was breed specialist Helen Davenport Willis. Her 2nd CC came at The Scottish Bernese Mountain Dog Club Championship Show in August 2001 where she also was Best In Show. The judge was all rounder Joyce Mann .and  she NOW has 8 RES.C.Cs.

Amie, above, was born 31/05/90, she was out of a litter of 13.A big girl even as a pup she was first in the food dish and last out. Her temperament was exceptional. She was lightly shown due to her being in season every 3-4 months, hence her coat was always on the blow. She had two litters to the same stud dog which produced Jett and Page.

Recently we have been showing very selectively. We have a few youngsters coming on now who, we hope will do well in the show ring.

One of them is shown in the photo above. Cody, although he is only 13 weeks in the photo he shows some early promise. He is out of JETT by TEXAN and has most of their attributes.Ryce is on the left.

ALYNGARN AMITIE, MULTI RCC WINNER AND HER FULL SISTER FROM A PREVIOUS MATING CHAMPION ALYNGARN AMOURETTE TOP WINNING BERNESE 1995. BOTH THESE LOVELY GIRLS ARE SIRED BY DENACA SUPER TROUPER EX ALYNGARN CHERIE AMOUR. BOTH ARE HIP AND ELBOW SCORED AND HAVE BEEN CHARACTER ASSESSED BY THE NORTHERN BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG CLUB. Jett won her 1st CC at the tender age of 15 months and with BOB as well, that was a great surprise at the time. She won this at The Working Breeds of Wales in 1994. In 1995 she won 8 CCs ending the year at The Scottish Kennel Club Champ Show with the CC,BOB and ended up 4th in the old working group which was considerably larger in numbers than it is today. Her sister PAGE twice won the reserve CC on the same day as Jett won the CC. making both those days particularly memorable.
